Sherwoods employees transform plain reindeer into magical Rudolphs
CAR dealer staff used a touch of bodyshop ingenuity when asked to decorate a church festival tree.
Sherwoods employees Lucy Peacock and Carole Cottingham used their touch-up skills to transform plain reindeer into magical Rudolphs with the help of a blob of red paint.
Twenty trees, sponsored by a host of Darlington organisations, took a variety of Christmas songs as their themes as they decorated the interior of St Cuthbert’s Church.
The festival was designed to celebrate the Yuletide season and also draw attention to the weekly cost of running the church, which amounts to an estimated £2,000.
Sherwoods marketing co-ordinator Lucy said: “I chose Rudolph as our theme and we bought about 20 of them to hang on the tree. Painting the red noses was the important finishing touch.
“We sang as we decorated our tree; it was really good fun. The church looks lovely so i would urge the public to pop along over the weekend to have a look!”
